Badge Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Badge Settings<\/strong> section allows you to configure how badges appear on listings. Badges highlight special listings such as new, popular, or featured ones to attract visitor attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access these settings, go to: WP Admin Dashboard \u2192 Directory Settings \u2192 Listings \u2192 Badges<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. General<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Badge Display Type<\/strong>
Select how badges should appear on listings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Text Badge<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Displays the badge as text (e.g., \u201cNew,\u201d \u201cFeatured\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Icon Badge<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Displays the badge using icons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    2. New Badge<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    This badge is automatically shown when a listing is newly created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Badge Text<\/strong>
    Enter the label displayed on the badge.
    Default: \u201cNew\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    New Badge Display Duration<\/strong>
    Set the number of days the \u201cNew\u201d badge remains visible on a listing after it\u2019s created.
    Default: 3 days<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Background Color<\/strong>
    Choose the color of the badge background to match your site design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Popular Badge<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    This badge highlights listings that gain high engagement or positive ratings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Badge Text<\/strong>
    Enter the text to display for popular listings.
    Default: \u201cPopular\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Determine Popularity By<\/strong>
    Choose the metric used to mark listings as popular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • View Count<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Based on how many times a listing has been viewed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Average Rating<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Based on the average user rating score.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      View Count Threshold<\/strong>
      Define the minimum number of views required for a listing to be considered popular.
      Default: 5<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Minimum Average Rating<\/strong>
      Set the minimum average rating (equal or greater) to mark an item as popular.
      Default: 4<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Include Logged-In User Views<\/strong>
      Enable this to count views from logged-in users toward popularity statistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Dynamic View Count Cache<\/strong>
      Turn this on if you\u2019re using caching plugins (like W3 Total Cache or LiteSpeed Cache).
      It ensures accurate real-time view counts even when caching is enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Background Color<\/strong>
      Select a background color for the Popular badge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. Featured Badge<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      This badge identifies listings marked as featured by the admin or through paid listing plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
