Map Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Map Settings<\/strong> section controls how maps are displayed across your directory listings. You can choose the map provider, set default coordinates, adjust zoom levels, and configure what details appear in the map info window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access it, go to: WP Admin Dashboard \u2192 Directory Settings \u2192 Listings \u2192 Map<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Map Configuration<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Select Map<\/strong>
Choose your preferred map provider for displaying locations on listings and search results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • OpenStreetMap<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Free and requires no API key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Google Map<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Requires a Google Maps API key.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Default Latitude & Longitude<\/strong>
    Set default coordinates for your map.
    You can find these values using the \u201cFind it here\u201d link and paste the coordinates into the respective fields. This location will be used when a listing does not have a specific address set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Force Default Location<\/strong>
    Enable this option to enforce the default latitude and longitude for all listings.
    When turned off, the default location only appears on the \u201cAdd Listing\u201d form map when no address is entered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Zoom Level for Single Listing<\/strong>
    Define the zoom level for the single listing page map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • 0<\/code>\u00a0= Fully zoomed out<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • 22<\/code>\u00a0= Fully zoomed in
      Default value: 16<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Zoom Level for Map View<\/strong>
      Set the zoom level for the all listings map view.
      Default value: 1<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Map Height<\/strong>
      Specify the height of the map (in pixels).
      Default value: 350px<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Map Info Window Settings<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      Control what information appears when users click on a listing marker on the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Display Map Info Window<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Show or hide the pop-up info window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display Preview Image<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Show the listing thumbnail inside the map window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display Favorite Badge<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Display the favorite icon if users can mark listings as favorite.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display User Avatar<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Show the listing author\u2019s avatar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display Title<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Display the listing title.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display Review<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Show star ratings and review count.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display Price<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Display listing price if available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display Address<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Show the listing address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display Get Direction<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Enable a \u201cGet Direction\u201d button for navigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Display Phone<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Show the listing\u2019s phone number if provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
