Directorist makes it simple to publish any type of business or niche listing on your website. You can easily create, configure, and customize your Add Listing<\/strong> form to fit your directory\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two ways to add listings: from the frontend<\/strong> and from the WordPress dashboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add Listing from the Frontend<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Both admins<\/strong> and registered users<\/strong> can submit listings directly from the frontend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the Add Listing page<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Directorist automatically creates this page when you activate the plugin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • If needed, you can manually add the shortcode:[directorist_add_listing] <\/code>to any page where you want the submission form to appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Fill out the form<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Enter your listing details such as title, category, location, description, and images.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The available fields depend on your current settings and installed extensions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Submit the form<\/strong>\n

        • Once submitted, a new listing will be created in your website\u2019s backend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The admin can review, approve, or publish it based on your directory\u2019s configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

          Add Listing from the WordPress Dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Admins can also add listings directly from the backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Go to WordPress Dashboard \u2192 Directory Listings \u2192 Add New Listing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Fill in the required listing information in the form (similar to the frontend form).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Click Publish<\/strong> to make the listing live immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
