Email plays a pivotal role when it comes to notifying admin\/listing owners about various activities. Directorist allows you to customize the email templates within the plugin itself. Navigate to the WP Admin Dashboard \u2192 Directory Listings \u2192 Settings \u2192 Email \u2192 Email Templates<\/strong> to customize the templates.<\/div>\n

    You can use Placeholders to output dynamic value<\/div>\n

    You can use the following keywords<\/strong>\/placeholder in any of your email bodies\/templates or subjects to output dynamic value.\u00a0Usage<\/strong>: place the placeholder name between\u00a0==\u00a0and\u00a0==\u00a0. For Example use ==SITE_NAME==<\/code>\u00a0to output The Your Website Name etc.<\/p>\n

    ==NAME==<\/code> : It outputs the listing owner’s display name on the site
    \n==USERNAME==<\/code> : It outputs the listing owner’s user name on the site
    \n==SITE_NAME==<\/code>\u00a0: It outputs your site name
    \n==SITE_LINK==<\/code> : It outputs your site name with a link
    \n==SITE_URL==<\/code> : It outputs your site URL with the link
    \n==EXPIRATION_DATE==<\/code> : It outputs the Expiration date
    \n==CATEGORY_NAME==<\/code>\u00a0: It outputs the category name that is going to expire
    \n==LISTING_ID==<\/code>\u00a0: It outputs the listing’s ID

    To customize the email templates, again, go to Directory Listings \u2192 Settings \u2192 Email \u2192 Email Templates<\/strong>. You can edit the subject\/body adding\/removing the keywords stated above. Additionally, you can also use HTML tags in your template.
